Presents Neil Simon's Rumors
April 11, 2005 : RUMORS revolves around four couples who are joining =
the deputy New York City Mayor and his wife to celebrate their tenth =
wedding anniversary. The party never really gets started because the =
host has shot himself in the head and his wife is now missing. His =
lawyer, in an effort to protect his client, begins a cover-up. And, as =
most lies go, the story gets progressively more difficult to sustain as =
guests arrive and no one can remember who has been told what.
The play is full of slamming doors as the couples get more and more =
crazed.
