SPOTLIGHTS PRESENT PLAY ON!

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater is pleased to announce its Spring Mainstage production, Play On!  Show dates are Fridays and Saturdays, May 6 - 21, at 8:00 PM.  A matinee performance is slated for Sunday, May 15 at 3:00 PM.  Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens.

Play On! is a comedy written by Rick Abbot.  The show tells the story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from the play’s authoress.  From the dreadful rehearsals to the disastrous performance, this is a tale in which anything that can go wrong does.  Directed by Chris Otcasek; Assistant Director, Margaret Berke.  Starring Elaine Carson as Smitty, Ken Chamers as Louis, Kaycee Craig as Violet, Dave Estvanko as Saul, Eric Makowski as Billy, Mickey Martinez as Gerry, Pam Matthews as Polly, Rita Poling as Phillis, Ruth Wilson as Aggie, and Michael Yonkura as Henry.  

Audiences will also enjoy a gallery exhibit of watercolor paintings by artist Karen Melton.  The exhibit will be open one-half hour prior to curtain and at intermission on performance dates.
