The American Boychoir

at historic St. Stanislaus Church

Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m.

 

After an appearance at the 2004 academy awards, The American Boychoir, 

from Princeton, New Jersey, will present a concert at St. Stanislaus Church, 

on Sunday, April 17th at 3:00 p.m.  

Admission is free, however an offering will be received.  

The American Boychoir, founded in 1937, is the nation’s most widely 

touring and frequently performing choral ensemble, averaging 150 

performances annually.  They have performed with the Boston Symphony 

and the New York Philharmonic during their 2004-2005 season.

You might also have seen them perform last month on television 

during the Academy Awards.  The concert is being presented along with

 The Ohio Boychoir, a Parma based choir founded thirty years ago by 

Alexander Musichuk.  The Ohio Boychoir has been delighting audiences 

throughout northeastern Ohio, the nation and in Europe

with a reputation for musical excellence.  In January 2004, 

Mr. Musichuk passed the baton to Jon Simsic, 

who continues to uphold the choir’s standards and traditions. 

The American Boychoir will sing works spanning six centuries of music 

from motets and madrigals to spirituals,folk songs and movie music. 

This concert provides a wonderful musical feast for the broadest of musical appetites!
