Revue by Christopher Luscombe and Malcolm McKee. The play which consists of=20=

sketches, songs and poetry about William Shakespeare, his plays, and the=20
actors who perform them, will have a preview performance on Thursday, May 5,=
 and=20
will play through May 22 at Actors=E2=80=99 Summit Theater in downtown Hudso=
n.=20

=E2=80=9CWe=E2=80=99re delighted that we were able to secure the rights,=E2=
=80=9D said Artistic=20
Director Neil Thackaberry. =E2=80=9CWe saw the original production in London=
 and fell in=20
love with it.=E2=80=9D With a cast of four singer/actors and one pianist/act=

the show is a comic whirlwind of songs and sketches.

The Play
Called by one critic =E2=80=9CA joyous words-and-music anthology in loving m=

writing inspired by Shakespeare, as well as classic songs and sketches by su=

well-known talents as Stephen Sondheim, Cole Porter, Noel Coward, Tom Lehrer=

Python, and Dudley Moore. It also features specially written material by=20

Performance Schedule
The Shakespeare Revue will have a preview performance on Thursday, May 5. Th=

official opening is May 6; with regular performances continue through May 22=

Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.

Tickets
Preview tickets are $14 for all seats. Tickets are $25 on Fridays and=20
Saturdays and $22 on Thursdays and Sundays. College students and seniors rec=
eive a $4=20
discount at all performances except the preview. Students under age 18 are=20
admitted for half price. Group discounts and season subscriptions are still=20
