Hudson Players Present a Show of Classical Proportions

This weekend, the Hudson Players will present, "I Hate hamlet," a comedy
of classical proportions.  In this comedy, a young, successful actor
moves to New York when his television series is cancelled.  There, he
rents a great apartment and is offered the opportunity to play Hamlet in
Central Park.  It would be an actor's dream . if he didn't hate Hamlet.
His dilemma deepens with the entrance of John Barrymore's ghost.  The
contrast between the two actors leads to a wildly funny duel over women,
art, success, duty, television and even the apartment. Tickets are
available by telephone (330 655-8522) or by stopping by Downtown
Hudson's Learned Owl Book Shop.  

The cast includes Bob Peyak of Cuyahoga Falls, Beth Alexander of Stow,
Darlene Fonzi of Kent, Scott Shriner of Akron and Lyn Joslyn and Marco
Urbanic of Hudson.

The Hudson Players perform at the Barlow Community Center, 41 South
Oviatt St.  Performances are May 6, 7, 13, 14, 21, 21.  Tickets $12,
students/seniors $10.50.  During opening weekend, $2 from every ticket
sold will be donated to the Stow Hudson Relay for Life cancer fund.  For
