Last Month at the Dark Room:
Variety was the watch word as last month's Dark Room encompassed everything
from poems to original songs to memoirs to a scene from a pirate musical! A
group of high school students from North Royalton came with a short play
completely rehearsed and "off book"--an encounter between a hitchhiker and a family
wound forwards then backwards. About 15 people read or had their pieces
read--actors were called upon to sing, try out German accents, and do a bit of
swashbuckling. Writer Chris Johnston emceed with his customary dry wit. Join us
this month to "see what develops."
