The Lorain County Children's Pioneer Theatre is still seeking teachers/directors for this summer's workshop. The workshop runs from June 20, 2005 to July 16, 2005. This is our 30th Anniversary and we are pulling out all the stops for a production of Rogers and Hammersteins' "The Sound of Music." We will be holding the daytime workshop and rehearsals at Prospect Elementary School in Elyria, Ohio. This summer, LCCPT returns to the Stocker Performing Arts Center at Lorain County Community College in Elyria. LCCPT was the FIRST organization to perform publicly on the Stocker Center Center stage. It is a special opportunity for LCCPT to celebrate its 30th Anniversary as Stocker Center celebrates its 25th this year.

We are seeking qualified candidates for the following PAID positions:

DIRECTOR
MUSIC DIRECTOR
BUSINESS MANAGER
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
COSTUMER

This is a great opportunity for Teachers seeking part-time summer employment and College Students seeking internships for the summer. Please respond with resumes to LCCPT, c/o J. R. Simons, 521 Park Avenue, Elyria, Ohio 44035 or by email to jovialities at excite.com. For more information on the LCCPT summer day camp program please see our website at www.lccpt.8m.net. I apologize in advance that it is not up to date. I have not had the time to do that.

We look forward to setting up an interview and hiring from the incredible talent pool that northern Ohio has.

Thanks!

J. R. Simons
Treasurer
Lorain County Children's Pioneer Theatre
