AUDITION NOTICE
For
The Monster’s Mind

The Monster’s Mind is a feature-length independant film shooting in and 
around the Miami Valley area from mid-July to early August. In the vein of 
Silence of the Lambs and other psychological dramas, it is a story of an 
ambitious psychiatrist and his search to find meaning in the mind of a 
killer. Gradually, the doctor becomes obsessed with his search for truth and 
begins to take on the very mind of the man whose inner secrets he must 
unlock.
This will be an ambitious and exciting feature film debut from 
screenwriter-director Brett Hatten. The film is based on the novella by 
Springfield native Autumn A.J. Conley, who is assisting Hatten in the 
development of the film. Select cast members will receive a small sum for 
their participation; however, all involved will be reward with a fun, 
energetic, and exciting filmmaking experience.

Characters:
Dr. Henry Lambaugh – Protagonist. Late 30s/ Early 40s, white male
Joshua Daniels – Antagonist. Early to mid 20s, white male
Penelope Lambaugh – Lambaugh’s daughter. 10 yo female
Eryn Lambaugh – Lambaugh’s ex-wife. Similar in age to Lambaugh, female
Ernest Tolland – County Prosecutor. Late 40s, slightly overweight, male
Christine Tolland – Ernest’s Wife. Optimistic Attitude, Late 40s, female.
Jerry Andrews – Operates Youth Center. Late 30s, male
Kristina McCallister – Only Survivor of Joshua’s Murder spree. 16 yo, female
Nicole McCallister – Fraternal twin sister of Kristina. Also 16 yo, female
Regina McCallister – Mother of McCallister Sisters. Early 40s, female
Chloe – Lambaugh’s Secretary and friend. Early to mid 20s, female
Lynn Daniels – Joshua’s Bitter Sister. Late 20s, female
Mr. Daniels – Joshua’s Father. Late 40s, male
Mrs. Daniels – Joshua’s Mother. Late 40s, female
Frederick Kaminski – Head of Northside Psychiatric. 45-55 yo, male.
