Near West Theatre=20

Free Technical Theater Workshop

Ages 13-18

Participants will:

  a.. Learn the about the principals of stagecraft in general, including =
set construction, painting, lighting, and sound.
  b.. Learn how to use a variety of power tools and hand tools in a safe =
manner
  c.. Help construct the set for the NWT summer production of =
"Oklahoma."
  d.. Participate in the production crew for the upcoming NWT =
productions in any one of a variety of roles; including spotlight =
operator, sound technician, propsmaster and deckhand.
Sessions run June 7th to August 9th

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 AM to 2PM

Note: production crew times will coincide with the tech week rehearsals =
of Oklahoma (Evenings July 17-22) and all performances of Oklahoma (July =
22, 23, 28, 29, 30 August 5, 6 & 7) For more information and showtimes =
