Just a quick reminder about a fantastic learning and networking event for those in the entertainment industry and any who are trying to break in.
 
The Cleveland Entertainment Conference (www.clevelandentertainmentconference.com) is Saturday, May 21st, 2005.
 
Panelists this year include:
 
Anthony and Joe Russo who wrote and directed "Welcome To Collinwood" starring William H. Macy and produced by George Clooney. They won an Emmy for directing "Arrested Development" and have 3 new movies in the works that are being produced/distributed by major companies from New Line Cinema to Universal Pictures.
 
Don D. Scott who wrote "Barbershop", "Barbershop II" and worked on the scripts for "Charlie's Angels II" and "Mr. 3000". He's writing "Freedom House" for Warner Bros with director Thomas Carter who helmed "Coach Carter" and "Save The Last Dance". He's also writing and producing "Miracle Cars" starring Nick Cannon from "Drumline".
 
Erica Beeney who wrote "The Battle Of Shaker Heights" to win the first writing contest for the "Project Greenlight" TV series and has since been writing for several major production houses.
