AN AUDITION DATE HAS BEEN ADDED
 for
ELYRIA SUMMER THEATRE'S
DAMN YANKEES

Sunday May 15th, at 6:00 p.m.

Performance Dates:  July 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31.  (Six shows, Two Sunday =
matinees)
Auditions will be held at First United Methodist Church, 312 Third =
Street (across from Ely Square Park and old Courthouse) in downtown =
Elyria.  Please note that Third Street is a one-way street. Parking and =
entrance is located on Holly Lane behind the church.  If you're not =
familiar with Elyria and need directions call 440 773-3606.  We'll get =
you there, we promise!

ROLES ARE STILL AVAILABLE!

Especially needed are men of varying ages to be the ballplayers (young =
guys to play rookies and older men to be the seasoned veterans) - most =
have speaking parts as well as major singing roles.

Also needed are adults and kids of all ages to play fans & townspeople - =
Families especially welcome!
Please come prepared with a song in your key and dress for movement

Damn Yankees contains many famous musical numbers including "Six Months =
Out of Every Year," "Goodbye Old Girl," "You've Gotta Have Heart," =
"Shoeless Joe From Hannibal, MO." "Two Lost Souls," and "Whatever Lola =
Wants (Lola gets)."  Come join us for a trip back in time to when =
Washington D.C.'s baseball team was called the Senators, and everybody =
(including the Cleveland Indians of the "dark years") beat them =
regularly.  Things haven't changed in one regard - back then, even as =
now, all everyone wanted to do was "...beat those Damn Yankees!"
