Bruce Eisenbeil (NYC) electric and acoustic guitarist, has performed
throughout the USA, Japan, Brazil, Paris, Berlin, and at many festivals.
Eisenbeil has collaborated with many fine musi=20

cians including: Cecil Taylor, David Murray, Milford Graves, Evan
Parker, Wolfgang Fuchs, Ellery Eskelin, Andrew Cyrille, William Parker,
Michael Manring and many others. Bruce Eisenbeil has received critical
acclaim for each of his CD=92s =96 Opium, Mural, and Nine Wings. The =
readers
and writers ofCadence Jazz Magazine voted Opium, his most recent CD, one
of the top 10 new jazz releases of 2002. Eisenbeil=92s work has been

Katsuyuki (Kastu) Itakura (Tokyo),is an innovative cutting edge pianist.
His improvisations span the range from subtle minimalism to noise. A
strong supporter of New Music in Japan, Katsu incorporates a wide range
of musicians in a variety of compositional and improvisational formats.
Born in Tokyo in 1943, he began his studies of Classical Music when he
was 7. He soon became interested in blues and jazz and played his first
jazz gig at the age of 12. Musicians that Katsu has performed and
recorded with include: Peter Brotzman, Dave Holland, William Parker,
Warren Benbow, Richie Vitale, Scott Robinson, Sabu Toyozumi, Mototeru
Takagi, Daniel Umer, Yoshio Ikkeda, Natsuki Tamura, and Kondo Hitonori.
Katsu has toured throughout Japan and has received critical acclaim as
an improviser and composer. Over the past 30 years, Katsu has performed
at dozens of festivals in Japan. He has also performed in London at the
15th anniversary of Leo Records and at the Florida Jazz and Blues
Festival in 2000. Since 1985, Katsu has been curating the music series
at Club Ornette in Ashikaga, Japan.=20

The improvisations of Japanese pianist Katsuyuki Itakura span the range

Brian Osborne (NYC) is an active performer of improvised and new music
He has been organizing and participating in local DIY music events
throughout the USA and Europe for over 12 years. Osborne received a
Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the North Carolina
School of the Arts.While there he studied many styles of music and
performed in a variety of ensembles.Distinct specialty was with his
studies and performance of Javanese Gamelan Music. He has continued his
advanced studies with master percussionist Milford Graves. Along with
his solo percussion music Osborne currently enjoys an array of musically
stimulating projects. He recently finished a European tour with
saxophonist Blaise Siwula. Osborne has also performed, recorded or
worked with Daniel Carter, Sabir Mateen, Elisa Osborne, Christoph Irmer,
Ge-Suk Yeo, Charles Waters, DOSDEDOS, the George Steeltoe Ensemble, and
has had a longtime collaboration with clarinetist Michael T. Jackson.=20


A wide range of percussive tonal instruments are employed by Brian
