LIVE! PERFORMANCES A HIT AT SOLON CENTER FOR THE ARTS

=93I think you=92re wonderful! I think you=92re marvelous! I think =
you=92re beautiful, magical and filled with curiosity!=94 Over 625 =
teachers and students from more than 13 area preschools and kindergarten =
classes joined in singing these words. They were all a part of the first =
Live! Performances for the Young and Young at Heart concert, featuring =
children=92s artist Debbie Clement, at Solon Center for the Arts on May 16 =
and 17.=20

Students came from cities such as Bedford, Maple Heights and as far as =
Newbury. This concert series was created specifically for preschool and =
kindergarten aged children. Performances were 45-minutes long and highly =
interactive to include sing-alongs and move-arounds for young children.

Performer Debbie Clement has won the hearts and smiles of thousands of =
children, educators and parents at schools, libraries and conferences =
across the country. Ms. Clement has released 4 CDs and most recently a =
children's book, titled =93You're Wonderful.=94 Her songs are filled with =
positive messages of growth, self-awareness and self-esteem and incorporate=
 sign language. Debbie also places a special emphasis on literacy, using =
charts and posters and pop-up word boxes in her performances. This fun and =
energetic presentation was applauded by both children and adults.

Cheri Mackey, special needs preschool teacher at Arthur Road Elementary =
School, said =93The program was awesome and very appropriate for our =
children. Debbie Clement kept things moving and kept the children engaged =
with an appropriate amount of sitting, standing and movement. Very =
captivating!=94

This first concert was sponsored by the Davidson Family Foundation, David =
and Jane Silk, D.D.S., Shari Wolsky, D.D.S., M.S., Inc and Solon Center =
for the Arts.

The next concert in the Live! Series will be Marilyn Price Puppets in =
November 2005. Marilyn Price weaves a finely crafted performance filled =
with storytelling, puppetry and music.=20

Subject: [NEohioPAL]Voice Workshop with Robert W. Becker

Passport Project is now offering a voice workshop with Robert W. Becker.

Starting next Friday, May 27 and continuing for 6 weeks, this session
with help you to strengthen your voice and performance skills.  The
workshop wiill include vocal exercises and an exploration of vocal &
performance techniques.  Each week will perform a song with the
accompanist!  All genres of music - classical, pop, jazz, world, &
musical theater!  Registration is required.

6-week session starting 5.27.2005
Fridays 4:00-6:00 pm
All Levels & Ages
$150 for the session
