Concert and audition information
Rain, Rivers and the Rolling Seas!
Hear the Ohio Boychoir singing folk songs
and sacred music that resound to a nautical theme!
The program will also include a semi-staged performance of
The Golden Vanity by Benjamin Britten. This “mini” opera is based on
the old English ballad about a sea battle between sailors and pirates
and the heroic cabin boy who saves the day!

a member of the Ohio Boychoir? Then, read on!
The Ohio Boychoir has been training boys to develop an appreciation for music,
the arts, and vocal quality for over 31 years. This internationally renowned choir
has performed for 5 US Presidents, has won numerous awards, and has toured
several countries.
Membership in the Ohio Boychoir is open to all boys from third grade to voice change,
regardless of race, creed or economic status. Rehearsals are held weekly in Parma.
No previous choral experience is necessary.
In addition to our schedule of winter and spring concerts, the boys participate in fun events.
This summer, we’ll again meet for our week-long educational and fun-filled music camp,
located on a chaperoned, safe environment in Geneva, OH. Additionally, this year the
Ohio Boychoir will take part in a recording project.
Visitors are always welcome at rehearsals. This would be an opportunity for prospective
members to become aware of the choir’s activities and an opportunity to discuss membership
with Music Director, Jon Simsic. If you require more information, would like to visit us
