Some folks have asked when I'll be performing locally. Here's the =
official press release:
----------
Singer/songwriter/guitarist Diana Tyler will bring her "earthy =
songs about heaven...and heavenly songs about more earthy things, too" =
to Common Grounds Coffee House this Saturday, June 4, 7-9 p.m. Also =
included will be sing-along songs and chart hits from various musical =
genres and eras.
Tyler's song, "Dream On, Sisters!" was selected for inclusion =
on a cd of music submitted for "The Mix in '06", an historic gathering =
of an expected 5,000 women of the United Church of Christ and Christian =
Church (Disciples of Christ) to be held in Indianapolis June 21-25, =
2006. Other artists with original works on the cd (to be released July, =
2005--the opening of registration for "The Mix in '06") include =
critically acclaimed folksinger Carrie Newcomer and Laura Hall (of Drew =
Carey's "Whose Line...?" improv show). For registration info. or to =
purchase the cd, visit www.dreamonsisters.com . =20
Tyler will also be a guest on the June 10 and 17 air dates of =
"Graffiti Cleveland" which can be seen on Adelphia Cleveland cable =
channel 21 at 4 p.m. and again at 4:30 p.m. =20
Common Grounds is located in Brooklyn Heights United Church of =
Christ, 2005 West Schaaf Rd., Cleveland (216-741-2280). Admission is =
free. A dinner menu features soup, dessert and beverages for sale; the =
dining room will open at 6 p.m. Visit Tyler's web site for more =
information: www.dianatyler.com=20
----------
(My thanks to GC producer/host Frank Mixson and staff for their kind =
comments about my performance at Sunday's taping, and to =
singer/songwriter/"real"guitarist Will Cheshier for providing the cute =
quote describing my music. I'd appreciate your visiting their sites, =
too: http://www.time-lineproductions.com and =
http://www.willcheshier.com )
"Make it a good one!"
