For the past three years, Lyric Opera Cleveland and SPACES Gallery have
presented a collaborative event to highlight the talents of Lyric=92s
young apprentice artists and the exciting exhibitions presented by the
gallery. =20

=20

Each year, Lyric artistic director Jonathon Field prepares a
diverse selection of art songs by composers representing a wide variety
of musical styles and genres, designed to match the current exhibition
at SPACES. This year, we are pleased to offer the final opportunity for
you to see SPACES=92 thought-provoking exhibition, Dissent: Political
Voices, along with a series of musical selections ranging from Beethoven
to Bacharach, including compositions from local composer Leslie Adams. =20

=20

This is your first opportunity to witness the remarkable talents
of Lyric=92s Apprentice Artists before the start of the 2005 Summer
Festival Season, and the last chance for you to see Dissent before the
exhibition closes. This FREE concert will be accompanied by a
discussion of the SPACES exhibition led by curators Kristen Baumli=E9r =
and
Craig Lucas.

=20

This one-performance-only event is offered on Friday, June 10 at
7pm at SPACES, 2220 Superior Viaduct (in Ohio City, at the foot of West
25th Street). =20

=20

(Seating is limited to the first 100 patrons, and is offered on a
first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive early to guarantee your
seat. Doors open at 6pm.)

For more information, call Lyric Opera Cleveland, 216-685-5976.
