Join CPT and TITLEWave theatre in celebrating the plays of Adam Rapp! Or,
check out the final weekend of the critical fave THE SECRETARIES!

Opening tonight, June 3!

Stone Cold Dead Serious

co-produced with TITLEWave theatre

June 3 - 18

the Off-Broadway hit!

Written by Adam Rapp

Featuring Stephen Dale, Meg Kelly Schroeder**, Robert Ellis**, Magdalyn
Donnelly, and Arthur Grothe.

Directed by Gregory Vovos

"Rapp is very gifted, and, even rarer he has something to say….a playwright
who is forging a real voice."

--The New York Times

Let’s visit a house on our street. You know the one. No one has ever been
inside. The Ledbetters live there, a clan of dropouts, junkies, and QVC
addicts, just your average dysfunctional family. Only their teenage son can
save them from themselves by winning a million bucks playing a real-life
version of a computer game. Or, he'll battle to his death trying. Join us
for another high-octane ride from TITLEWave theatre, co-producers of last
season’s Wait! and Charge. Ohio Premiere!

**Members of Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors
and stage managers in the United States, appearing under special contract.

Support from The Cleveland Theatre Collective

Opening Sunday, June 5!

Nocturne

June 5 - 15

a solo piece workshop

Written by Adam Rapp

Featuring Dan Kilbane

Directed by Jyana S. Gregory

Designed by Earl Z. Browne III

All tix $10 at the door

"Even the greatest sleeping sea can be awakened by the tide."

Playwright Adam Rapp explores loss in this stirring solo piece. Can one move
beyond tragedy and reconnect with the world? Join CPT for another area
premiere by the next great American playwright, a poetic performance about
heartbreak, reconciliation and the possibility of going home again.

"…a stunning confrontation with truth that spares neither the character or
the audience….Rapp is an original…." – Associated Press

The critics have joined these ladies around the water cooler @ Cleveland
Public Theatre! FINAL WEEKEND!

The Secretaries

May 12 - June 4

a killer comedy!

Written by The Five Lesbian Brothers

Directed by Randy Rollison

"...one of the best productions I've seen on the CPT stage."

--Fran Heller, Cleveland Jewish News

"...you'll never treat a secretary the same way again."

--Tony Brown, The Cleveland Plain Dealer

"A sexy, gory laughfest."

--Linda Eisenstein, CoolCleveland.com

"...smart ass..."

--James Damico, The Free Times

"...wickedly funny..."

--Kerry Clawson, Akron Beacon Journal

Being a secretary at the Cooney Lumber Mill in Big Bone, Oregon, is what a
girl dreams of. But the conversations around the water cooler have taken an
odd turn. And the peer pressure is getting to you. I mean, how much Slim
Fast can you drink in a day? And the men have had a number of fatal
"accidents" lately. And Ms. Curtis keeps getting a little too close for
comfort. And what about those girls' nights out, huh? This is starting to
get a little strange! The Five Lesbian Brothers give us a Texas Chainsaw
Massacre tribute to life in the office.

Featuring CPT favorites Denise Astorino (Touched: Bodies of Work, The Vagina
Monologues), Meg Chamberlain (Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge,
Wait!), Liz Conway (Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge), Alison Hernan
(A Bright Room Called Day, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) & Sheffia Randall
(Nickel and Dimed).

MEMO: The Secretaries is a comedy ode to film noir filled with blood,
violence, crude and sexual humor, language, Slim Fast consumption, and
lingerie. Not for the faint of heart, it's for those who want to laugh their
butts off. No one under age 18 permitted!
