Verlezza Dance Co.

The Verlezza Dance Co. will perform at the Shaker Colonnade (corner of
Van Aken Boulevard and Lee Road) on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. =20

=20

Sabatino Verlezza Artistic Director of Verlezza Dance Co. holds a M.F.I.
(Dance) from the University of Michigan.  Barbara Allegra Verlezza is
Associate Artistic Director for Verlezza Dance; Assistant
Professor/Artist-in-Residence at Kent State University with a M.F.A. in
Dance from the University of Michigan.  They will be holding workshops
for all ages through the City of Shaker Heights this summer. =20

Their accomplishments and awards are many.  Sabatino and Barbara
Verlezza are co-directors/instructors of the Creative Movement/Dance
program at the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation
and are celebrating their fifth year as directors/instructors for the
Creative Movement/Dance program for the Euclid Adult Training Center for
senior adults with developmental, physical and sensory disabilities
through the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation/Developmental
Disabilities where they were honored with the 2003 Inclusion Award.
They co-teach the modern dance program for the Cleveland School of Dance
under the direction of Gladisa Guadalupe.=20
