Beck Center is seeking a male  singer/actor/mover
for its June 2006 production of
LIES AND  LEGENDS
The Musical Stories of  Harry Chapin
 
This is a 15th Anniversary  remounting of the smash hit from Beck's 1990/1991 
season. It features original  cast members Paul Allesandro, Mickey Houlihan, 
Monica Olejko and Tracee  Patterson. Both Director William Roudebush and 
Musical Director Nancy Maier are  returning as well.
 
The 5th actor should be a  25 to 35 year old male who is physically fit and 
looks it! He should be a strong  bari-tenor and be very comfortable moving. 
 
Production dates are June 23rd,  2006 thru July 22nd, 2006. Please note that 
this is NEXT summer, and  not this summer. This will be a three week rehearsal 
period  beginning approximately June 1st, 2006. 
 
This is a NON-Equity  contract only. We will see interested actors by 
appointment on Tuesday, June  14th beginning at 6PM. If you are interested, please 
either respond to this e-mail or call 216-521-2540 x239 to make an  appointment. 
These appointments will be made through Scott Spence, Beck Artistic  
Director, and NOT through the Beck box office.
 
For your audition, please prepare 1  vocal selection not to exceed 2 minutes. 
Bring sheet music in your key. An  accompanist will be provided.

Just thought you might be interested in checking out the Cleveland Pop Culture Festival this Sunday (June 12) from 11am-4pm at the Holiday Inn Lakeshore in Downtown Cleveland. Admission just $5!

Cleveland’s new and exciting film production company 216 Films will be there to promote their award winning comedy “GUYS” and it’s upcoming DVD release. “GUYS” won Best Short Film Comedy and the Viewers’ Choice Award at the Indie Gathering last weekend and was the most buzzed about film at the festival.

“GUYS” writer-producer-director Joe Ostrica and his 216 Films crew will be discussing their upcoming projects as well as where you can catch screenings of “GUYS” in the upcoming weeks.
