Within this new arts complex located at 62nd and Detroit Avenue, are two=20
fantastic new venues available for rental including: the =E2=80=9COrthodox=
=E2=80=9D  (formerly=20
St. Mary=E2=80=99s Romanian Orthodox Church, built in 1907) as well as =E2=
=80=9CThe Parish=20
Hall.=E2=80=9D

James Levin has championed the cause of =E2=80=9Ctheatre as social change=
=E2=80=9D, has=20
provided access to creative resources to the under-served, has produced over=
=20
twenty seasons of thought-provoking productions at CPT and has nurtured the=20
positive growth, change and revitalization of the Detroit Avenue Area since=20=
he=20
founded Cleveland Public Theater in 1984.

Jeff Blanchard early on was a company member of Giant Portions, one of=20
Cleveland=E2=80=99s first improvisational comedy troupes.  Later in 1995 he=20=
Co-Founded=20
Cabaret Dada Improvisational Theater where he served as Artistic Director fo=
r the=20
first 5 years.  He also founded The Cleveland Black Box Theater and was=20
Artistic Director from 1995-2000. Recently, Jeff Co-Founded the Cleveland Im=
prov=20
Institute with Don Mitri.=20
=20
Don Mitri was a performing company member of Cabaret Dada Improvisational=20
Theater from 1996-2000. Don recently Co-Founded the Cleveland Improv Institu=
te in=20
Downtown Cleveland with Jeff Blanchard. Don Mitri and Jeff Blanchard=E2=80=
=99s goal=20
was simple: provide the best training from some of the finest instructors=20
teaching improvisational comedy theater today.
