Cesear's Forum is pleased to offer two stylized plays of desire; Wallace Sha=

=E2=80=99s SUMMER EVENING, and Tom Eyen=E2=80=99s WHAT IS MAKING GILDA SO GR=
AY?, at=20
Kennedy's Down Under, Playhouse Square Center, Cleveland, Ohio, opening this=
 weekend=20
(June 24th) through July 30th. Improbable expectations, uneasy appetites,=20=
a=20
familiar immediacy and amusing, provocative language comprise a ninety-minut=
e=20
evening of theatre.                        =20
=20
In the first play, SUMMER EVENING, a young couple (Kat McIntosh and Scott=20
Esposito) are staying at a foreign hotel. She loses herself in cold, sensua=
l=20
daydreams, while he tries to express his frustrated longing for her. In the=
=20
second play, WHAT IS MAKING GILDA SO GRAY?, a not so young couple (Bernadett=
e=20
Clemens and John Kolibab) idealize and confuse their life together with prev=
ious=20
lovers.
=20
Wallace Shawn is a playwright, screenwriter, and a theatre-film-television=20
character actor. Educated at Harvard and Oxford, Mr. Shawn=E2=80=99s heady,=
 dramatic=20
comedies made a name for him in New York City=E2=80=99s theatrical undergrou=
nd of the '80

roponent=20
