ORDINARY PEOPLE IN EXTRAORDINARY TIMES: STORIES FROM WORLD WAR II will =
be presented on July 18, 2005 at 7 PM at the Rosebud Party Center; 4493 =
Oberlin Ave.; Lorain, Ohio. This new storytelling program will spotlight =
some of the extraordinary people and events from W.W.II. Some of the =
stories you'll hear include the harrowing tale of Margaret Bourke-White =
and 400 nurses who were torpedoed on their way to Africa, the story of =
Rodger Young who became a hero through his selfless courage, and the =
touching story of the girl "back home" and the soldier who have =
continued to write to each other to this very day. This program is =
presented by the Black River Historical Society and is FREE and open to =
