and recording artist, within the bluegrass and acoustic music arenas. =
Mayfield began playing bass with his family band "One Way Rider" at the =
age of 12. By the time he turned 18, he had already won several awards =
for guitar & mandolin, recorded with Grammy winning musicians from the =
"O Brother Were Art Thou" soundtrack, and sang his own original material =
