Hello All Current and Former Clevelanders! (ites?)

I am currently the Director of Entertainment for the Jekyll and  Hyde Club 
and Pub in NYC.  I am sending out this audition notice to Fred's  list as I know 
that there are many former Clevelanders in New York who still  subscribe to 
this great resource, as well as those with family in the  city.

The Jekyll and Hyde Club is a theme restaurant that uses  animatronic 
technology in a way done in no other theatre.  Using a  multitude of fully 
interactive special effects, Actors create an environment of  fun for our guests using 
Improv, Scripts, and by doing large shows   - a Frankenstein Creation is one, 
where a huge platform comes down five  stories through a central atrium. There 
is a complete background history written  for the club, and actors interact 
with the guests to bring this  history to life both on the floor, as well as 
through the  puppets.  The club has recently gone through a million  dollar 
renovation, effectively doubling the number of puppets and shows, and  using 
remarkable new technology.

Jekyll is an Equity House, and employs approximately 40 actors and  four 
stage managers.  While not the highest paying Equity gig, (perhaps an  
understatement), we provide a flexible, fun, creative environment, while still  
maintaining a high  level of talent and performance.   

Headshot/Resume submissions are now being accepted at the  club.  Only those 
with strong improvisation backgrounds will be  considered.  Actors who are 
currently Equity will be given special  consideration, although all are welcome 
to submit.  If hired you will need  to join AEA.
