The Public Squares are proud to present its all new
hilarious comedy revue, “Ow! You Hurt My MAN
Feelings!”  for a three weekend run beginning
Saturday, July 9th and concluding on Saturday, August
13th. The show contains completely original sketches
and takes an energetic yet lighthearted look at issues
such as life, love, death and just plain silliness.   

The Public Squares burst onto the local comedy scene
two years ago. Founded by the graduates of the former
Second City Cleveland’s writing program, “The Squares”
have set out to keep sketch comedy alive in the city
they love.

WHAT: 

Shallow Focus Entertainment will be holding auditions for a feature film.  We are casting for actors of all genders and races ages 18 and up.  Please do not bring children for role consideration at this time.  Between current projects with children and some wonderful kids who I owe roles to, I am to capacity at the moment!  (you know who you are, I haven't forgotten about you)

The story has multiple lead characters with engaging storylines and dialogue to spare.  The film will be rife with violence, adult language and situations, all pertinent to an extremely self-aware, somewhat cheeky story, but worth noting to those performers who are sensitive to that kind of content.  

Pay is on a rolling breakeven basis.  In a nutshell, cast and crew will be paid if and when all costs have been covered, all loans have been paid off, and everybody gets paid at the same time based on the amount of work they put in to it.  All my costs are above board, and I don't pay myself, so anybody who doesn't see the logic in not promising something I may not be able to deliver can keep their opinions to themselves.  Copy of final work, lots of great food and at least one delicious party are bare minimum rewards you can expect for your hard work.  


WHO: 

Formerly Video Verite' Productions, we have been making films for ourselves and others since 1990.  Pioneers in digital video production, 2006 will mark our tenth year in creative digital filmmaking.  We are one of the VERY few production entities in Northeast Ohio who screen work in competitive film festivals both nationally and internationally.
