Job Description: Pianist/Accompanist
Qualifications: Position entails accompanying dance classes and teaching general concepts of music to elementary public school children as part of a weekly arts enrichment program. Applicants must be able to provide a wide range of musical styles and be able to sight-read music.
Company Profile: Reach Out and Danceâ(ROADâ) is a not-for-profit arts education out reach program of the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet. The Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet is an arts education organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children through the arts. Using professional teaching artists, ROADâ offers classes in dance and a professional theater experience for children who might otherwise not have the opportunity. Its goal is to inspire excellence, motivate learning, uplift the human spirit, and to instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
