The Dinner in the Garden

A Scrumptious Benefit for Transitional Housing, Inc.

CLEVELAND - Join us Saturday, July 30th from 6:30 until 10 pm for The =
Dinner in the Garden, a feast for the pallet as well as the eyes.  Chef =
David Gauchat, Culinary Institute of America Chef, founder of Truffles =
and gifted gardener, is hosting dinner at his home on Cleveland's West =
Side. =20

Enjoy a feast in Chef Gauchat's beautiful gardens.  Curry spiced =
scallops, orange glazed Cornish game hens, and walnut raspberry torte =
are just a few of the delights in store for 50 lucky diners. =20

Housing, Inc.

Transitional Housing, Inc. provides formerly homeless women with a safe =
environment, programs and services to direct them toward =
self-sufficiency and independence. Transitional Housing, Inc. was =
founded in 1986 in response to a serious shortage of safe, decent and =
affordable housing.  Each year THI serves between 100-125 women who =
become homeless for a variety of reasons such as economic crises, =
domestic violence, and substance abuse.  Women reside in one of 62 rooms =
for up to two years.  THI provides the education, services and support =
essential to achieving personal and financial independence.  All =
residents participate in a personal development program that includes =
both on-site classes and connects them with community services, =
employment training, and educational opportunities.  After a woman =
transitions into her own housing Transitional Housing staff continue to =
provide follow-up services.  Since 1986 over 1,300 women have =
transformed their lives through THI. =20
