Now that the nominations went public last night, I get to share my very 
good news.  I'm thrilled that my play EISENSTEIN'S MONSTER is one of the 6 
nominees for a 2005 New York Innovative Theatre Award for "Outstanding 
Original Short Script".

My compliments to TOSOS II, the marvelous company that produced this 
evening of short work at the Duplex Cabaret last fall. As every playwright 
knows, it's only when you get such a fabulous rendering of your work that 
people really see its merits.  So hats off also to TOSOS II.  They're not 
just an impeccable production company -- you'll never meet a nicer bunch of 
people.
