Cleveland IndieClub moving to The Hyacinth Lofts

(July 25, 2005, Cleveland, Ohio) Cleveland's premiere, FREE monthly
filmmaking networking and showcasing meeting is moving to a larger
venue. Due to increased attendance, August's IndieClub meeting will
convene at The Hyacinth Lofts.

Cleveland IndieClub was founded by Johnny K. Wu, of Media Design
Imaging, as a way for local filmmakers to get together on a monthly
basis to exchange, network, socialize and showcase their short film
reels, or trailers. The Cleveland IndieClub is part of the national
online web resource site IndieClub.com which has over 200,000 registered
members from across the globe and in over 80 different local groups
meetings established. Cleveland IndieClub started holding regular
meetings at Ohio City's Talkies Film & Coffee Bar in October 2003.

A different filmmaker, on the third Sunday of every month, hosts a Q&A
session and screens films or trailers shown by local independent
filmmakers. Special guests regularly visiting and share their expertise
to the crowd of budding filmmakers, writers, actors, and film
aficionados.

"Attendance had been consistent with over 40 people since we started
over a year and a half ago," said Wu. "Talkies Film and Coffee Bar is
run by film lovers for film lovers. As much as I'd love to continue
hosting it there, it was time to move to a larger location." Attendance
to Cleveland IndieClub meetings has nearly doubled in the past few
months due to great word-of-mouth buzz and increased interest in the
local filmmaking scene.

After a few months of looking for a new location, David Perkowski,
founder of The Hyacinth Lofts, suggested space in their building. "The
Hyacinth Lofts is built for filmmakers in mind, and I've always
championed local, independent moviemaking. Having the Cleveland
IndieClub at our facilities will help bring the community closer
together," said Perkowski.

The August 18th Cleveland IndieClub meeting will start at The Hyacinth
Lofts with the topic of discussion: Audio for Film and Video, hosted by
Richard Ingraham and Arvayarta Kumar. The Hyacinth Lofts is located at
3030 East 63rd Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44127. Visit Cleveland IndieClub
website at www.clevelandindieclub.com, for more information about The
Hyacinth Lofts and the great features for visual artists, visit

Cleveland IndieClub is co-sponsored by Johnny K. Wu and Media Design
Imaging, Bill Johns and Cinevid Productions, The Hyacinth Lofts, Michael
Balas and Media Group Studios and the Cleveland IndieClub members.
