Since April 2005, A Joker's Card has been online for viewing exclusively
at Undergroundfilm.org, the short film, which received a lot of good
reviews and won a Telly Award, also was one of the key ingredient for
giving Undergroundfilm.org the highest download stream of their 7 years
operation history. 

A Joker's Card has been persistently one of the top 10 most watched film
at Undergroundfilm.org, and continued to be the top 5th most watched
film as of August 7th, 2005.

In addition, this short film has generated a great buzz from its
festival routes, mentioned by online magazines (Cinema Crazed,
MicroCinema Magazine, Filthreat.com, etc) and soon will be on TV in Las
Vegas, plus in October, at MileHi 37 Convention in Colorado (the biggest
Sci-Fi convention in that region), where one actress Ellen Friedman will
be participating and moderating 4 panel discussion and signing
autographs. :)

But the latest: ClickFlick Entertainment, a membership based website
that showcase independent films, is going to be featuring A Joker's Card
to their members (which also providing a small royalty fee to us), plus
they are actively seeking distribution deal for this parody film.
WIthout a doubt, this short film is going far beyond our expectation...
This is the 2nd short film of mine that actually starting to generate
some financial return (usually, short films are not as easy to get
monetary compensation). Funds will be used for the continue distribution
of this film and also for the next installment: the feature film Joker's
Rapture.

A Joker's Card, a short film combines award winning local talent (cast
and crew like Robert Banks, Andrew Schofield, Bill Johns, etc) with
other cities award winning filmmakers (John Sheetz, Kathya Fitzgerald,
Timothy Gunn, etc) by volunteering their time and experiences, is also
available for anyone interested to own a copy. You can buy the
incredible soundtrack CD created by Aryavarta Kumar, (received a lot of
praise by critics for the perfect match scores for the film and
everything within the DVD/CD set), for $11.50 and get the DVD movie
free, which includes stereo & 5.1 surround sound (engineered by Richard
Ingraham), cast/director's commentaries, bloopers, gallery pictures,
short films from some cast and crew, behind the scene footages from
several cast/crew including Bill Johns, Tom Luhtala, Christine Chapman,
Alan Tuskes, and others interviewed by talented Robyn Griggs with the
great crew that worked together for the Behind the Scene footages,
etc...

The collaborative work reflects that Cleveland IndieClub members can
work together and accomplish something different, something of fun and
that it's spreading to across the globe, A great inspirational story for
many to continue their dream to be a filmmaker.

Making a movie (short or feature length) is not just the work of a
director, but of everyone, from the cast to extras, to crew to
production assistants, etc they are part that make a film successful and
A Joker's Card is the FRUIT of that team work.
