We are Cleveland-based filmmakers producing our second short to use for distribution in the top North American festivals and for raising investor funds to produce feature films locally. This will be a great showcase of comedic talent for all actors involved.

Positions are not paid, unless profit is made from the short. All actors will receive credit and copy, plus first consideration for upcoming paid roles. We will also feed and extend every available comfort during production. We have a fun team led by a highly talented director.

Time commitment: one filming weekend in October (schedule based on participants) and one previous rehearsal meeting. Main actor may need slightly more rehearsal time.

Males: age 25-50, any ethnicity, size, shape, look, etc—key factor is comedic talent.

Females: age 27-45, any ethnicity, size, shape, look, etc—key factor is comedic talent.

Female children: age 7-11, any ethnicity, size, shape, look, etc—key factor is comedic talent and ability to shriek in the most disturbing way. We encourage braces, freckles, missing teeth, or other distinguishing characteristics, although we won’t discount those without.

Brief Synopsis: When Tom's phone number is confused one too many times with the number of a local urgent care center, he takes desperate action to regain his precious solitude. Things get messy when chummy new neighbors refuse to respect Tom’s privacy.

This is not a slapstick comedy. It relies heavily the subtle nuances of each actor’s performance. Action and dialogue from the script will be available to use on audition day.
