Set in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Mama's Veil follows the mother-daughter
relationship between Betty Ann Cardwell and her staunch Southern Baptist
mother from 1969 when Betty Ann was nine years old until the present.=20
This is a dramedy (comedy/drama) in which Betty Ann, played by three
incredibly talented actresses, tries to assert her Blue-State =
independence
from the well-meaning but rather controlling Red-State Mama.  The play,
written by a long time Lorain County resident Teresa Lee Jenkins, is
loosely based on her growing up in Bowling Green. =20
