[FARMHOUSE]

PART NEEDED:  Mickey Ramsey (AGE 24- 34) - leader of the Farmhouse
Trinity, a group
of heroin junkies brought together by their addiction. Mickey is wise,
fearless, wild, funny, crazy, and desperate all at once. He is the
reluctant father figure for two younger junkies- Jason, who is living
on the edge of life, and Barbarella who is drowning in addiction.

Mickey is the lead of this film, an excellent opportunity full of
creative challenges for up and coming and experienced actors. The
shoot will take 3-4 days and is PAID. The actor will receive full
credit of course, as well as a copy of the finished piece, and
potential exposure to national and international film festival
audiences.

The film will be shot between August 18th and the 28th. (Mickey is not
needed every one of the days.) SCHEDULE IS FLEXIBLE

AUDITIONS will be held this Saturday, Aug. 13th so don't delay!

ABOUT THE PROJECT:  "Farmhouse" is an independent short film from New
York University director and Akron native Sean Speers. It is an
adaptation of local novelist Larry C. Soper's book of the same title.
Formerly announced as a feature length project, several scenes have
been adapted to be produced as a short. The movie will be sent to film
festivals across the country and around the world to be seen by many
directors, producers, agents, actors, and audience members. It will
also be used as promotional material to accrue funding for the
feature, to be shot next summer.
