The City of Shaker Heights presents the Shaker Community Band, a FREE
concert on Wednesday, August 17 at 7 pm at the Shaker Colonnade, the
corner of Van Aken Blvd. and Lee Rd. (adjacent to the Shaker Community
Bldg., 3450 Lee Rd. and the Shaker Hts. Public Library, 16500 Van Aken).
The Shaker Community Band is under the baton of Luiz Coelho who has
conducted this band composed of 100 professional musicians for the last
six summers. =20

The Shaker Community Band plays patriot tunes, Brazilian melodies,
classical excerpts and makes for an enjoyable evening.  Bring your
chair, blanket, come early and picnic on the lawn.  There is road repair
construction, but traffic flows and the marked detour is easy to follow.
Extra parking is directly across the street in the Heinen's parking lot.
