FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Church of the Saviour Chancel Choir is beginning its new season and
invites interested singers to join the group. Church membership is not
required.  The purpose of the choir is to glorify God and minister to
the congregation through music. The group sings each Sunday for the
11:00 a.m. worship service in our beautiful Gothic sanctuary as well as
for a few other events during the year. Repertoire ranges from
Renaissance motets to modern sacred music. 
Membership commitment includes rehearsals every Thursday evening from
7:30-9:15 p.m., and Sunday rehearsal at 10:30 a.m. prior to the 11 a.m.
service. Sight-reading ability is helpful. 
The choir will perform Mozart's Coronation Mass with orchestra in
February and is looking for more singers, especially altos and basses.
