here is sometimes brutal but performed so naturally you wouldn't want it =
any other way."

"The best is saved for last.  We're at a neighborhood bar.  Hank (Miss =
Pilarczyk), a regular and probably always a little drunk, continues to =
tell Karen Sue (Miss Tarr), a soon-to-be-alcoholic, how pretty she is.  =
He wants to marry her though he's already married.  The conversation is =
repeated over and over and becomes funnier and funnier.  Miss Pilarczyk =
shows her great acting range as the lowly Hank.  Miss Tarr plays off of =
her perfectly."

"All in all, "Parallel Lives" is much fun.  These two performers should =
win an award for their remarkable versatility.  The two hours fly by."
