AUDITIONS FOR YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCTION OF

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Weathervane Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for Joseph and =
the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Monday and Tuesday, September 12 and =
13 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on =
Wednesday, September 14. The 17 performances run from November 25 - =
December 18, 2005. Auditions will be held at Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 =
Weathervane Lane, Akron, in the Valley off Merriman Road. Sarah Bailey =
will direct the production and the musicial director will be Margaret =
Knepper.

Cast requirements: the age limit for Auditioning is firmly Age 12 - 19.=20

We have 34 Total parts available. (17 boys, 17 girls)

Please prepare 16 bars of music from a Broadway show (no longer than a =
minute), and you must provide your own sheet music. An accompanist will =
be provided for you.

Rehearsals will typically be four days a week, with some weekend =
commitments. Rehearsals are usually 2.5 - 3 hours in length. A full =
schedule of rehearsal dates and times will be available at auditions.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting. Except in =
cases where race, gender, age or disability is essential to the play, =
all roles will be cast on the basis of talent. Weathervane Playhouse is =
a community theater. All performers in all productions are volunteers. =
