Hi cyberpals:

This is a quick plug to let you know of some events coming up in
September: two in Cleveland, one in New York.

- Over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1-4), Cleveland is going to be an amazing
weekend destination. INGENUITY: A FESTIVAL OF ART & TECHNOLOGY
brings together nearly 200 music, theatre, dance, art, film, &
performance events all taking place within a few downtown
blocks.

On Saturday Sept. 3rd, come see CHANGING THE WORLD: THE
MUSICALS OF LINDA EISENSTEIN.

Musical director Michael Flohr has put together a revue of songs from
seven of my musicals. They're sung by a terrific quartet of singers who
have appeared in shows of mine over the years: Dan Call, Alison Hernan,
Nadia Tarnawsky, and himself. The revue features songs from my earliest
musical -- THE LAST RED WAGON TENT SHOW IN THE LAND (1986) -- and
several songs from two of the newest -- HOLIDAY HOTLINE, which
premieres in Cleveland this November at Detroit Avenue Arts, and BECOMING
GEORGE, which premieres at MetroStage (Alexandria, VA) this April.

WHEN: Saturday Sept. 3rd, 8:15 - 9:15 pm

WHERE: 1st Street Alley Stage, just off Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio.
(around the corner from Fat Fish Blue)

HOW MUCH: Tickets are available at the Ingenuity website --

It's a great bargain: $10 for a full day pass to dozens of performances,
or $25 for a weekend pass that admits you to everything. Check it out.
