The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival will have auditions for this fall's production of Shakespeare's MACBETH tonight Monday August 29th & tomorrow Tuesday August 30th from 7:00pm - 9:30pm.  (adapted and directed by Dawn Youngs). We are looking for a strong ensemble of five actors with a powerful understanding of Shakespeare's text and excellent movement skills.   

The production will begin rehearsals in mid-September with a projected opening of October 28th and run weekends through November 19th in a variety of spaces around Cleveland.  This is an non-equity production.

Auditions will be held at The Cleveland Playhouse Rehearsal Hall C.   This is an open call, please provide a headshot/resume if available and prepare one Shakespearean monologue.  There will be callbacks Sept. 3rd or 4th, please come with conflict information.  Anyone unable to attend the open call may contact the director at dawn.youngs at usa.net <mailto:dawn.youngs at usa.net>  to make other arrangements for an audition, please put 'Macbeth' in your subject line.
