CONSORT! DANCE AUDITIONS
for youth age 12-18
(NO PREVIOUS DANCE TRAINING NECESSARY TO AUDITION

On Tuesday, September 6, 2005 from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm at Karamu House’s Lower 
Dance Studio, CLEVELAND CONTEMPORARY DANCE THEATRE (CCDT) will be holding 
auditions for its 2005-2006 CONSORT! dance program.
 
CONSORT! is a 36 week after-school program for youth ages 12-18 dedicated to 
helping at-risk youth achieve personal growth through focused dance training, 
dance-related experiences and literacy based activities.

Candidates for the CONSORT! program must possess  a strong desire to dance 
and be willing to learn new skills.

Come to the audition prepared to move in tights and leotards or semi-loose 
fitting comfortable clothing, i.e. t-shirts, sweats (no street clothing, do-
rags or excessive jewelry).

Audience Development Manager. =20

Desired candidate will:

  a.. Research and cultivate new audiences in Northeast Ohio for The =
Cleveland Play House.
  b.. Support the Group Sales Manager to identify target groups for each =
production and make initial contact.
  c.. Support Marketing Department as needed.
  d.. Stay current with all Play House business, events and policy.
  e.. Be familiar with all plays and productions at The Play House.
  f.. Establish new affinity groups and subscription packages. Organize =
pre- and post-show social events for all affinity groups including =
pricing food, drink and entertainment; coordinating raffles and =
giveaways; arranging party sites, coordinating tours, staffing and =
ticket discounts.=20
  g.. Continue to mine target audience group leads. Stay current with =
target audience organizations, information sources, events, etc.
  h.. Responsible for all marketing regarding affinity groups. Secure =
email and snail mail lists from appropriate organizations. Attend trade =
shows, outdoor events and expos to promote The Cleveland Play House.
  i.. Develop "Neighborhood Nights" for local communities
  j.. Edit and write content for The Cleveland Play House newsletter =
"Scene and Heard." Coordinate all newsletter content and secure final =
sign-off on all information.
  k.. Manage related content on Cleveland Play House website.
  l.. Create collateral materials.
Ideal candidate will have:
