Auditions are this Sunday and Monday nights!

Stow Players, Inc. is proud to announce the auditions for our 2005-2006=20
season opener, the comedy-mystery, The Unexpected Return of Sherlock=20
Holmes, by Jack L. Herman - directed by the author!

Production Dates:       November 4, 5, 11, 12, 13 (2:30), 18, 19.
Audition Dates: September 11 and 12 (Sunday and Monday) 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Location:  The Heritage Barn, Silver Springs Park, 5328 Young Road, Stow,=
 Ohio

CAST OF CHARACTERS:

Arthur Conan Doyle: The famous author (37)
Desmond Westhaven: Owner of a haunted Manor, former actor (60=92s)
Abigail Westhaven: His wife (late 30=92s)
Robert Benson: The butler (40=92s)
Rose Westhaven: Daughter of Desmond and Abigail (18)
Dumas Markoveitch: A gypsy groomsman and Rose=92s lover (20=92s)
Sherlock Holmes: The famous fictional detective (40=92s)

SYNOPSIS:  English author, Arthur Conan Doyle, has been summoned to the=20
country retirement home of the famous English actor, Desmond=20
Westhaven.  Members of the family and the domestic staff have been seeing a=
=20
strange ghostly figure and the actor thinks that Holmes=85or more correctly=
=20
the man who created Holmes, can ferret out the truth.  The plot thickens=20
when Mr. Doyle discovers he not only has to learn the true nature of the=20
ghost, but he has to deal with a ghost of his own, as Sherlock Holmes=20
himself arrives to save the day.  Doyle is the only one who can see Holmes=
=20
and the problem is that Doyle dislikes his creation (that's why he killed=20
him off).  But Sherlock won=92t take no for an answer and insists on helping=
=20
a reluctant Doyle discover the truth of the mystery.  With the combination=
=20
of the author=92s spooks and the detective=92s cold logic can the case=
 finally=20
be solved?=85The game is afoot!

Auditionees should be prepared to read from the script.  A script is=20
available for viewing at the Stow Library.  Any questions, please call the=
