JOHN FOX WEEKEND
                        On September 30 and October 1, 2005 Arts in the
Cathedral of Church of the Saviour will present John Fox in two events
centering on The Soul's Language: Poetry of the Sacred.  John Fox is a
poet, certified poetry therapist, and author of Finding What You Didn't
Lose: Expressing Your Truth and Creativity Through Poem-Making and
Poetic Medicine: The Healing Art of Poem-Making.  John Fox teaches at
the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco; the
Graduate School of Holistic Studies at John F. Kennedy University in
Orinda, California; and the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in
Palo Alto, California.  He leads workshops throughout the United States,
Europe, and Korea.
            Friday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m., Fox will present a
session showing how poetry can be accessible and useful in a way that
fosters greater self-awareness and understanding between people.   This
is a free event, open to the public.
            On Saturday, October 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., John Fox
will lead a workshop limited to 18 participants.  The cost is $50, lunch
included.  Registration should be made through Dick Meadows,
216-321-7698 or dick at nccw.net.  
            Both events will be held at Church of the Saviour, 2537 Lee
Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio (1 block North of Fairmount Blvd.)  The
church has plenty of free, lighted parking and is
handicapped-accessible.
