-A Silent Art Auction and Masquerade Ball to Benefit the New Orleans Relief
Effort
-Art from local and national artists including Edwin George, Cheryl
Townsend, VInce Packard, and more
-Performance by Oberlin=B9s =B3Kinder von Keller=B2 Theatre known for their
elaborate victorian costumes, juggling, sword swallowing, etc.

Yes, this is yet another benefit for the displaced people of New
Orleans...with a slight twist.  In the spirit of that fair city, a group
from Oberlin has volunteered to bring a festive masquerade ball
to the ECC on Sunday, September 25.

Cheryl Townsend of WARM came up with the idea and Vince Packard set it in
motion with a call for submissions.  The response has been wonderful with
artists both locally and nationally submitting work for the auction.  There
are even a few submissions by art from survivors.

Proceeds from the Auction will go to local organizations who are directly
involved with the relief effort.  One such organization, Students for
Hurricane Relief is sending a truck down on Friday, September 16th.
