    The Workmen's Circle Ohio District presents

  Yiddish Fest!

Sunday, September 25, 2005 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Join us for an exciting day of Yiddish with programs for adults and children!

11 a.m. Shofar Factory for children Children will learn the significance of the Shofar in the celebration of Rosh Hashanah and craft a genuine Shofar from the horn of a ram. (Reservations are required for this workshop)

11 a.m. Immigrant Voices in the New World: American-Yiddish Poetry for adults Presented by Kolye Borodulin from the national Workmen's Circle.

12:00 p.m. A free light lunch will be served. (Reservations are requested for lunch.)

12:30 p.m.  The Workmen's Circle Klezmer Orchestra with vocalist, Lori Cahan-Simon, will perform.  Conducted by Norman Tischler.
 
1 p.m. Yiddish Games for all ages Prizes will be distributed.

2 p.m. Yiddish Song Workshop Led by world-renowned Yiddish music performer, Adrienne Cooper.

Yiddish Fest is FREE for everyone!
