Greetings, 

We are in need of extras of all types to play ghosts in a scene to be shot Saturday, October 1.  

Interested actors should meet at 10:00 AM at 

1422 Elder Ave.
Akron, 44301

where we will carpool to the location, about 6 miles away.  

The scene will be outdoors, and should take until around 4 PM to transport, set up and shoot.  Actors do not need to help us strike the set.  As such, those interested should contact me by Wednesday, September 28 to confirm that the weather is going to be good to us.  Wardrobe will be provided to those who may have special effects make up applied.  I will give deal memos for rolling breakeven pay, a copy of the finished film and credit to every actor who signs a release.  In addition, I will feed everybody.  

We are rounding the bend with completion of an afterlife drama titled The Unseen Place.  Performers will be playing ghosts of people who died when their cars stalled atop active railroad tracks.  In the scene, the ghosts are released when the principal characters, a father/daughter duo (also ghosts) discover the tracks are haunted by the ghosts of 19th century train robbers whose eternal destiny is to forever "stop anything that moves" on the tracks.  

Our last feature film Sugar has won numerous major film festival awards and has been an official selection at many more national and international film festivals.  I have turned down two 6 figure deals for distribution of the film because they would not honor my deal memos citing them at "too expensive."  I do not believe in accepting money when those who help me will be excluded from at least one payday.  I am currently collaborating with two E! network producers and a retired art department head from Sony to create our own distribution entity, where the money that comes in after market costs can be spent wherever I want to spend it.  

It all boils down to striking a balance between saying something important to oneself, and having happy customers in this "business," and how much you're willing to lose one to have the other, because despite what anybody tells you, you cannot have 100% of both.
