Auditions Are Just Days Away For The Geauga Lyric Theater Guild's

Miracle On 34th Street

Directed by Lisa-Marie French

Open Auditions will be held:
Monday 9/26 and Wednesday 9/28
>From 6:30 to 9pm
At the Geauga Theater Annex in Chardon
(across from the theater, in the Coldwell Banker building)

Rehearsals will begin October 16
The show will run weekends in December from 12/2/05 -12/18/05

This is the timeless story, based on the 1947 novel by Valentine Davis, =
and made famous by the film starring a very young Natalie Wood.  The =
stage version features all the famed characters, but also a few that did =
not appear in the film.   While not a musical, there is at least one =
song that will take place during the play.

The GLTG version will also make use of a group of carolers who will =
entertain the audience prior to the play, and during intermission, and =
will appear in selected scenes.  Those interested in being in the =
Christmas Choir and ensemble should come prepared to sing an acappella =
song of your choice.  All ages welcome.

Featured roles include:

 Doris Walker: female lead, mother of 6-8 year old girl, age young to =
mid 30's.

Kris Kringle: male lead, the essence of Santa Claus, age unknown.

Fred  Gailey: male lead, love interest with Doris, age young to mid =
30's.=20

Susan Walker: precocious daughter of Doris, age 6-10 years.

Miss Adams: Macy's employee, 20's.

Cleo- The Walker Nanny: female, age 40ish.

Seeking 7 to 9 boys and girls to play various roles, ages 6 -10 years.

Additional Male roles available:
Mr. Shellhammer, Dr. Pierce, Mr. Macy, Mr. Gimble, Judge Harper, Charlie =
Hollaran, Mr. Sawyer, Finley the bailiff and several smaller roles with =
and without speaking parts. Ages 18 to 80.
