Cleveland, Ohio - As part of its first American tour, INSIDE
World Music presents the Anchiskhati (AHN - chis - ka - ti) Church Choir
from the city of Tbilisi in the Republic of Georgia for a Cleveland
premiere performance at the Beck Center for the Arts on Thursday,
November 3 at 8:00 p.m. The choir's program will include sacred hymns
and liturgical music, as well as Georgian folk songs and traditional
dances. The performance will be held in the Music Building Recital Hall
in the Armory at the Beck Center, located at 17801 Detroit Avenue in
Lakewood just ten minutes west of downtown Cleveland.

The Republic of Georgia is the birthplace of the world's
most ancient three-part harmony singing tradition. Georgian church
chanting is one of the country's chief artistic traditions and widely
regarded as unique among world music. The Anchiskhati Church Choir
plays a special role in the preservation of their country's musical
heritage. For the past ten years, the choir has been traveling and
recording church music around the world. The choir members have
recently formed The Georgian Voice, a society dedicated to the revival
and spread of Georgian music throughout the world.

Tickets for the choir concert go on sale Wednesday, October
5th. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets
