I am looking for information on film festivals and/or screenings here in
the Cleveland area that would be open to out-of-state producers. A
friend of mine in North Carolina has produced a full length motion
picture called "Among Brothers" which has been featured at several
Independent Film Festivals across the country. If anyone has any
information they can pass on about how to break into the Cleveland
market and what options would be open to him, it would be greatly
appreciated. (While I am from Cleveland, I am not familiar with the
filmmaking industry or the different avenues available to producers). I
can be reached at steph0126 at sbcglobal.net - any information is welcome!
The press release for the film and website for his production company
are included below if anyone would like more information about the
project. Thanks!

"AMONG BROTHERS" / FOURTH WARD PRODUCTIONS, INC.
Charlotte, NC, September, 2005 - Among Brothers has added five more film
festivals to its 2005 schedule. The film will screen at the Bluegrass
Independent Film Festival, the Kansas International Film Festival and
the Big Bear Lake Festival in September, as well as the California
Independent Film Festival and the LA Westwood Festival in October.=20
Since premiering at the Palm Beach International Film Festival and
receiving a 3 1/2 star Film Threat review, Among Brothers has gone on to
win a Silver Remi Award for Theatrical Features at the Houston
WorldFest, screened at the Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles, as
well as at the Atlanta Underground Film Festival.=20
While screening in Charlotte, NC, in July of this year, the film
garnered the attention of South Carolina Law Enforcement, who is now
reinvestigating the cold case. Dateline NBC, including reporter Keith
Morrison and producer Carol Gable, attended the screening and taped
interviews with Jennifer's family and the filmmakers for a segment
expected to air in the fall of 2005.=20
The Story: Based on Actual Events=20
Filmed solely in Charlotte, NC, Among Brothers delves into the events
surrounding the November 9th, 1994 death of college senior Jennifer
Morgan. When she was found dead in her burned down apartment the police
informed her family that it appeared to be an accident. Two days later,
the autopsy revealed that there was no presence of smoke in Jennifer's
lungs, her death was no accident.=20
Jennifer's brother Tom Morgan dedicated ten years of his life to putting
the pieces of this unsolved murder together and compiled his original
story. In 2004, John Schwert adapted the story, directed and produced
his first feature-length motion picture, based on these events, with
fictionalized names.=20
Fourth Ward Productions, Inc. is seeking distribution while continuing
to tour the 2005-06 international film festival circuit. View the
trailer and other film-related materials at www.4wproductions.com
