CLEVELAND PUBLIC THEATRE seeks professional to serve as Director of
Communications. Director is responsible for generating the organization's
earned revenue. Director manages all aspects of marketing and public
relations, including strengthening the theatre's coverage in local,
regional, and national media; developing strategies to reach organization's
earned revenue goals; overseeing membership, single ticket, and group
campaigns; communicating a consistent message to the public; and maintaining
the theatre's website. Ideal candidate will have proven track record of
successful leadership of the marketing and/or public relations efforts for a
small to midsize non-profit arts organization, and have direct experience in
the following areas: media relations, print and broadcast advertising,
graphic design, e-marketing, print and online publishing, direct mail,
budgeting, and market research. Additionally, he/she will be highly
organized, deadline oriented, computer savvy & willing to work as a
team-member. Reports to Managing Director. Starts ASAP. Reviews start
