INSIDE World Music brings the Anchiskhati Ensemble from Tbilisi , Georgia to the Beck Center on Thursday, November 3 rd at 8 PM . That's Georgia , formerly of the Soviet Union , not of
the American South. Georgia has the world’s most ancient three part harmony singing tradition and the eight men of the Anchiskhati Ensemble are its foremost exponents. Harmonically dense like
the best of 20th Century Russian classical music, melodically unique, Georgian music is delicate and strong simultaneously. This vocally powerful and spirited group stays true to the tradition, but
will catch and hold even an unfamiliar listener's attention with its rich vocal textures and occasional solo interjection. The Anchiskhati Ensemble’s stirring program will include sacred hymns,
work, table and ritual folk songs, as well as traditional dances. Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets at the door are $20 and $12. To purchase advance tickets,
